05/13/09 The Springfield Indians sign Steve Durej as their Assistant Coach and Dustin Durej as their Goalie Coach. Steve Durej was an
Assistant Coach with the Indians youth program in the late 90`s, as well as Head Coach of the MassConn Braves. Dustin Durej is a
former Indian and MassConn player. He attended Westfield St. College and played there from 2001-2003. Dustin Durej has been an
Assistant Coach with the MassConn Braves and Goalie Coach for their organization.
05/11/09 The UJHL and its Clubs have joined forces with "Shoot For A Cure", which is a foundation that helps to raise funds for spinal cord
research, to raise awareness of spinal cord injuries in hockey and to promote prevention of hockey-related spinal cord injuries.
