E.J. Fornias comes to the UJHL with a vast knowledge of sports, but off the ice and the inner office operations of how a league is operated. He is a Partner with the Law Firm of Roeberg, Moore and Friedman.

After receiving his B.A. degree in Philosophy from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, E.J. graduated with honors from Widener University School of Law in 1999.  E.J. is currently admitted to the Bar in Delaware and Pennsylvania as well as the District Court for the District of Delaware.  He is a published author and does extensive charity and pro bono legal work.  Presently, his practice focuses on the areas of personal injury, workers’ compensation, civil litigation, and criminal defense, real estate, criminal and corporate litigation.

      E.J. is responsible for the oversight and daily operations of the UJHL. Dealing with UJHL members and players, as well as the NCAA and its member’s services, with regard to making sure the UJHL abides by all the NCAA rules for prospective players and protecting their rights. He also maintains communications with teams and owners, enforcing and stressing players’ education after hockey.

Bernie DesRosiers
Bernie oversees and manages the UJHL members and all league marketing, advertisement, business development and future member applications to the UJHL. He supervises the marketing and communications meeting, and development of support programs to assist league members in the distribution of innovative sales techniques to increase member team operating revenue.

Bernie is responsible for all public relations for the UJHL, including press releases and the dissemination of information for the league. He is responsible for the editorial content of league publications of all teams monthly articles to USA Jr. Hockey Magazine. He coordinates and assists the media relations contacts for each of the member clubs including acting as the liaison for statistical information with pointstreak for any corrects and assistance with Garrett Pierce.

He is also responsible for the future growth and publication of the League and Corporate Sponsors through teams on press releases, press conferences and other avenues to increase media and public awareness through T.V. and newspapers.

Since 1997, Mr. Greto has represented various individuals, businesses, and unions in complicated civil and criminal cases. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, State of Delaware, and Delaware County Bar Associations, and is active in the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of both the Delaware County and State of Delaware Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Mr. Greto was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University in 1990, and a Juris Doctor from the Delaware Law School of Widener University in 1997.  This unique blend of technology and law enables him to better serve his clients.

Mr. Greto has vast experience in civil litigation/representation.  His current caseload in Pennsylvania and Delaware includes personal injury, workers’ compensation, breach of contract, creditor’s rights, corporate/small business, estates and probate, and real estate.  Mr. Greto serves as counsel for various small businesses in the tri-state area, and is the Assistant Solicitor for Aston Township.  He also serves as Solicitor for Felton Hose & Chemical Company and Chester Township Volunteer Firmeman’s Relief Association.   

Mr. Greto has vast experience in the area of criminal law.  He has served as an Assistant Public Defender, representing criminal defendants in all stages of criminal proceedings.  He frequently represents individuals involved in serious criminal cases concerning drugs, weapons, sexual assault, kidnapping, and murder. He represents individuals who are under investigation by state or federal agencies such as the FBI, IRS, and banking authorities. He also represents potential targets, subjects, and witnesses before Grand Juries. Mr. Greto handles all aspects of criminal cases including investigations, grand juries, preliminary hearings, trials, negotiated non-trial dispositions, sentencing, and appeals.

Mr. Greto served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph P. Cronin, from June of 1995 to August of 1996.  While serving as Law Clerk, Mr. Greto reviewed and shepardized cases proffered by litigants in support of their motions and oral arguments; he authored memoranda describing the strengths and weaknesses of the litigants' positions; he reviewed Hearing Transcripts, Statements of Matters Complained of on Appeal, and other components of the Record; he researched issues raised on appeal, and authored memoranda supporting the Court’s decision.  This experience provides Mr. Greto with unique insight in the litigation process.   

Mr. Greto was employed as a Supervisor/Engineer for Raytheon Engineers and Constructors from September of 1990 to August of 1994.  He researched new and existing Federal and State regulations for handling hazardous materials (i.e. Asbestos, Heavy Metals, Hydrocarbons); he directed and enforced staff compliance with these regulations while completing routine and emergency maintenance tasks at petrochemical installations; he planned and scheduled multi-million dollar maintenance inspection and analysis "turnarounds;" he managed various union crafts and ensured compliance with OSHA regulations.  This experience with Raytheon provides Mr. Greto with unique insight in litigation involving industrial accidents and workers’ compensation.

Mr. Greto was employed as a Supervisor/Engineer for Rollins Environmental Services from January of 1987 to December of 1988.  He was assigned to the project manager's staff on the first state directed CERCLA ("superfund") action performed in Pennsylvania, more commonly known as the Wade Site located in Chester, Pennsylvania.  He supervised the excavation of hazardous material according to contract specifications; he devised truck routes and tracked the removal of material from hazardous waste sites to authorized remediation facilities; he created emergency response procedures in the event of an accident during the remediation process; he documented all work and communicated progress to Federal, State, and private organizations, and he supplied video and written documentation of all completed assignments which was instrumental in the successful negotiation of a $250,000 contract change order; he also resolved several on-site union disputes.  This experience with Rollins Environmental Services provides Mr. Greto with unique insight in litigation involving exposure to hazardous materials.

Mr. Greto uses his technical degree and experience, as well as his law degree and legal experience, to better serve his clients.  Mr. Greto’s background provides him unique insight in both civil and criminal litigation and representation that is hard to find.
